Mr Potato Head

We recently bought a Mr Potato Head toy for Noah, and he can't seem to get enough. Oddly, from the first time he ever laid hands on it, he decided that the little plastic glasses were for him, and not for Mr Potato Head. In fact, I don't think Potato Head has ever worn them. Noah will put the glasses on anytime and just waltz around the house like its business as usual. He even worked out how to suck his thumb through the glasses (see photo). I have a very funny video of him doing it, but Im having trouble loading it. So if I can figure out my computer that will be coming soon...

PlayDough

Noah loves Play Dough. In fact, he had it for dinner last night ;) We can't keep it out of his mouth! Admittedly, for a child, its one of those things you can't resist tasting.

Anna Grace!

Miss Anna Grace is about 4 and a half months now. She has such an expressive face, and such chubby little cheeks.

Cupcakes

This was Noah's first foray into baking. Winter is in full swing here and with the weather being cold and rainy almost constantly, it is getting increasingly challenging to find indoor activities to entertain Noah. So, for today, baking it is.

crackers

To make a long story short, I was unavoidably busy with Anna this morning and when I came back to the bedroom I found Noah like this...He retrieved a bag of crackers from the kitchen and decided to have a nude picnic on the bed with his stuffed animals. Our bed is now similar to our kitchen floor - crunchy (who ever thought a floor, let alone a bed, could be "crunchy"?). Thank God for the cleaning lady!!

Let the tantrums begin!

True to conventional wisdom, Noah has been throwing more and more tantrums as he approaches 2. I know this comes with the territory of having a 2 year old, but some days I wonder whether I'm "momsy" enough to weather his tantrums. It's all so domestic:)! When we decided to have kids, I think we forgot they would actually be 2 one day, and not stay babies forever;) Nonetheless, we love you Noah!

We barrowed a slide for Noah to use. He loves it! The only problem is that he refuses to use it as it is meant to be used (like most of his toys), and instead of sliding down it he jumps off of it

And after he jumps off, he knows he has been a bit naughty so he then loudly says "oh no" with his hands on his cheeks for dramatic effect.

Anna is now 4 months
