Congratulations...officially Dr. & Mrs. M. now! Our friends Andrea and Mark recently traveled to Italy to get married in beautiful Positano. Here are a couple lovely photos Andi emailed.

I saw Sex And The City the movie the other day and it got me reminiscing about all the fabulous times I have had in Manhattan with my girlfriends. One of my dearest friends has lived there for a number of years now and she is always a gracious hostess! So here are a few of my favourite photos of fun times in NYC with the girls.

NYE!

Well, it's not often that we are without things to occupy us. We are some of the busiest people I know (for those of you who know Michael and his energy level- you can fully appreciate what I mean). But at the moment there really is nothing interesting happening, I think we are officially in an "interesting/fun things dry spell". No birthdays, weddings (well, one wedding yesterday, but in Italy unfortunatly), vacations, parties, holidays, new babies, or buying of new cars or houses. So, here are some fairly ordinary photos to reflect our ordinary life of late:)

Noah was playing with a Kleenex box in the car & we opened his door to get him out and found this...He had stashed the entire box of tissues down between the side of his carseast and the door.

Answer to the mystery image- a marshmallow, of course!

Some of you have expressed horror/concern/wonder at the yucky photo below, so I thought I best hop on the computer and set the story straight. Noah kept licking a pink marshmallow (making it very sticky) at a cafe the other day, started throwing it around, and it finally ended up in his hair. It was so mushed in that I had no choice but to cut it out. Oh well, just the first of many I imagine.

Balloons!

Noah loves to "dance" and here I caught him in an airborne move. He is perhaps putting on a show for his balloon? Anything's possible with him.

Noah's babysitter taught him to say "washy washy" when he needs to wash his hands after a meal. He makes us laugh when he rubs his hands together and says "wossie wossie".

The Boy

Noah is now 20 months. He is starting to understand and say things and life is getting a bit easier with him. He is the sweetest little boy! He loves saying "bye, bye see you (later)" and always has waves and kisses and hugs for everyone, and loves blowing kisses to any stranger who will look his way (and occasionally to a passing bus or truck if he's feeling particularly generous). He still enjoys swimming lessons on the weekends and playing with all his little friends on Wednesdays.

He managed to avoid eating any crayons today. Yay!

Anna 3 months

Anna is now 12 weeks old! We can't believe how quickly the time is passing with her. She is so happy, easygoing and not at all demanding (I know what you're thinking- "just wait until she is a teenager...":) that we sometimes forget to actually give her the attention and play time she deserves. With 2 kids it is usually whoever is making the most noise that gets the most attention; no doubt you can guess who that is.


Look at those cheeks! She looks like a mini sumo wrestler here. She's really not nearly as chubby as this photo makes her appear; I don't know what happened.
