USA Foods Store

For my sanity, I have to regularly make trips to USA Foods, a small store with all American grocery products that are otherwise unavailable here. Not to mention hefty imported goods prices to match! Anyway, here's Anna - the marshmallow junkie- in USA Foods. The marshmallows available in supermarkets here are not at all the same flavor, they have sort of a strawberry taste. I just can't bring myself (or my half American babies:) to put them in hot chocolate, etc. :) So we stock up on the good 'ol kraft jet puffed variety whenever we can.

Anna's 2nd birthday back in March got a bit lost in the chaos of everything else that was happening...the poor thing only had a very modest birthday 'party'. We just had family over for dinner and cupcakes. Anna received her very first "American Girl" doll from grandma and matching pajamas for herself, and she thought she was the ants pants!! The first pic is the bedlam that usually accompanies birthday cupcake baking.

The Outback/The "Red Centre"/Northern Territory/Uluru

My mom & I spent a few days up in the Outback, with lots of adventures and special sights, as seen in the (way too) many photos below...
